“It’s never too late to become the person you’ve always wanted to be!” – Futurist Jim Carroll

It’s never too late to reinvent your future. It’s never too late to do the things you’ve always wanted to do. It’s never too late to pursue a different path than the one you are on. The secret is having confidence in your ability to reinvent.

At this time last year, I was in the final stages of writing my 39th book, “Now What? Reinvention and the Role of Optimism in Finding Your New Future.” The book is all about how you can always accomplish your goals – and be the person you’ve always wanted to be – by reinventing yourself.

Now What?: Reinvention and the Role of Optimism in Finding Your New Future takes a look at what seven individuals did to redirect their lives, their future, and their opportunities. The book was based on interviews I conducted from my virtual broadcast studio while the 2nd – or was it the 3rd? – wave of Covid-19 raged around us. The book includes insight from Tom Morley, the drummer for the 80’s new wave/punk band Scritti Politti; Jeffrey Lee Campbell, guitarist for Sting on his world tour in 1986-7; Pastor Keith Pelzer of Philadelphia; Randy Kearse, a reformed ex-convict; Beth Cooper-Zobott, a corporate event planner; Phil deWolfe, a fireman turned emergency management specialist; and Nicholas Ingel, a personal fitness trainer/coach.

All of them faced choices of challenge and opportunity and shared their insight on what they did to be a better person – reinvented, chasing new ideas and goals. Being someone they always wanted to be – or discovering that the person they became without knowing it led them to that realization!

From the book jacket:

Reinvention surrounds us.

It is inherent to our future, fundamental to our success, and a pathway to our action.

In this inspirational, and powerful book futurist Jim Carroll takes a look at the concept of ‘reinvention’ from a personal perspective. What is the essence of the mindset of those who have successfully reinvented? What drives their attitude, motivates their action, and accelerates their efforts? Their stories, insight, and guidance will provide you a powerful pathway for your own reinvention!

For the fun of it, I also decided to interview someone who has that limitless optimism.

So I decided to interview myself! Give it a watch!

I don’t often work promotion into my Daily Inspiration, but this was an important book for me, as I have reinvented multiple times along the way in my own career. You can buy the book on Amazon.com, Amazon Canada, and other specific country Amazon sites.

In addition, you can purchase it from me directly – and I will personally sign it for you!
